Tai Chi
Tai Chi is an internal Chinese martial art often practiced to
improve health. Other purposes including; its Martial techniques,
competitions, health and longevity.
Tai Chi is well known to Westerners as slow routines that groups
of people practice together every morning in parks around the
world, particularly in China.
Today, the most common styles of Tai Chi are: Chen, Yang,
Wu/Hao, Wu and Sun. The origins and creation of Tai Chi can
be found in numourous text. However,the oldest documented
style of Tai Chi is Chen Style from the 1820s.
At the Academy we teach Both Chen & Yang styles of Tai Chi.
